I have seen some big dogs in my day, one of which is a blue great dane very similar to the one pictured above, but the shear size of Giant George is mind boggling.  Standing on all fours his shoulder is 43 inches off the ground.  So, if he lifts his head to its full glory he can lick a grown mans face … on all fours … wow!

This blue 4-year-old Great Dane named George is a real giant. He could be the world’s tallest dog! He is 43 inches tall (from paw to shoulder), 7ft 3ins (from nose to tail) and weighs 245lbs (111kg)!

For Phil and Debbie Winslow, moving their family from Kansas to the O.C. is a big deal. For their enormous Great Dane “Marmaduke,” however, the move means a whole new way of life. It’s chaos at home and awkward at work as the Winslows struggle to control their angsty teenage canine.

Standing at nearly 43 inches tall from paw to shoulder and weighing a staggering 245lbs, George is a gentle giant who tucks away 110lbs of food a month.
